The Gladstone Rotary Club has been an annual participant of Gladfest for many years. Our booth has become a pillar that stands forwhat we represent, "Service above self." It is always a pleasure to connect face-to-face with our patrons of Gladstone as they approach our friendly faces working in our vendor booth. We provide our loyal consumers with turkey legs, hot dogs, chips, coffee, and hot chocolate. It always seems that no matter the weather, the succulent aroma of our turkey legs draws the crowds from near and far to sink their teeth into the carefully smoked meat we provide all day long.
With months of planning and preparation, we have seen success year after year and have achieved our main goal by providing educational scholarships for high school students at Oak Park High School, Winnetonka High School, and Staley High School. Not only does the profit we make help us to provide great opportunities, but the experience itself lends to building brotherhood among members and promoting our respectful organization to this wonderful community. |
