         Hello Rotary brothers and sisters.Hope to be getting back to meetings soon. I cant believe we are getting ready to host our 3rd golf tournament.     Thank you again for the last two years of your support. Thanks to the golfers and special thanks to Phil Zehms. Angela and I met with 2 pediatric oncologists along with the philanthropy and events manager from Children's Mercy Hospital. We spent almost two hours telling them Zachs' story and hearing what advances they are working on for Ewing's sarcoma. It was very interesting to say the least. We are going to donate proceeds to Children's Mercy and will be earmarked for Ewing's and Osteo sarcoma research and clinical trials. Ang and I will be honored and grateful for your continued support. I am truly proud to be a Rotarian, especially a Gladstone Rotarian

NEW DATE - Rotary Leadership Institute in Chillicothe. BULLETIN!  BULLETIN!  We have a new date for the next sessions of  the Rotary Leadership Institute in Chillicothe:  Saturday, November 18.  We will be offering all three Parts of the RLI course.  The cost is $50 for the day and you can register – starting tomorrow – on the HOA-RLI Website:  http://www.hoa-rli.org/.  Our RLI sessions were originally scheduled to coincide with the District Conference and Foundation Dinner at Arrowhead Stadium on Oct. 28.  Now, you can hear all the outstanding speakers at the District Conference and the former Army captain who will speak about “waging peace” at the Foundation Dinner, and still catch RLI on Nov. 18.  Don’t miss ‘em!!
