On Monday, August 8th District 6040 is having our First Annual District 6040 Pars Fore Polio Golf Classic at Staley Farms Golf Club (if you need a copy of the flyer just let Amy know). This tournament is a kick-off event and prelude to a dedicated month of September Golf to raise funds through pledges.

Chapel Hill Day at Line Creek is , September 16. The dates to mark for Gladfest are Sept 29 thru Oct 2. More details and sign-ups to come.
Fairview Christian Food boxes for MLM
They appreciate everyone’s contributions towards the Food Boxes that Fairview collects items for & delivers to MLM (Metropolitan Lutheran Ministries Food Pantry). Its summer time & Fairview is in need of your help.
They are running low on the following items & any help provided would be appreciated:
Canned fruits
Canned veggies
Canned chicken
Peanut Butter
Any of the above donated items can be left in Fairview's Fellowship Hall (or at the office). At this moment, they have plenty of Mac & Cheese. Also please remember that MLM requested no more Spam.
